C Reactive Protein

Anytime there is an inflamatory disease, the human body produces C Reactive Protein, CRP, in the liver. High CRP levels are a better indicator of heart disease then high LDL Cholesterol levels.
Periodontal Disease is an infammatory disease that causes increased CRP levels in the bloodstream.
Undiagnosed Diabetes can also increase CRP levels.
We at Suwanee Dental Care are concerned with your entire health, both medical and dental. Our intial, Comprehensive Dental Exam, will check for Periodontal Disease, CRP and HbA1C(blood sugar) levels.
Please call to schedule a Comprehensive Dental Exam with one of our caring doctors if you are interested in total body health.
